Designed by Tim Coulter, this expansive Broadhurst home is a playful, contemporary interpretation of the American Shingle vernacular. For Tim and the many local artisans that contributed their art and spirit to the project, this home was a labor of love.

The home features hand-split and resawn cedar shingle roof and exterior walls, handmade tiles, custom designed and made light fixtures, custom on-site cabinets, trompe l'oeil paintings, and custom crafted millwork. The home was site positioned to maximize natural light, and overhangs were designed to shade in the summer while letting more light in during the winter.
