MMBI worked closely with designer Doug Obie to realize his architectural vision for this American Shingle vernacular home in the historical Denny Blaine neighborhood of Seattle.

A secret bookcase door between the children's rooms, along with many period touches - including custom designed moldings and hand-turned acorn finials - make this home full of character and warmth.

The site challenges of this project - including a compact urban street, steeply sloped lot, and very limited staging area for materials - made the finished product all the more rewarding.
