The owners of this Woodinville property had seen our work on the Broadhurst home, and were particularly interested in exploring a more contemporary interpretation of the American Shingle vernacular. We sought a balance of informal and understated, yet playful and welcoming.

As in all our projects, this one-of-a-kind home was carefully sited and designed to take advantage of the property's features, including the solar path, views, and topography.
