This home explored the use of CMU, Steel and Glass as the skelital features in the harsh desert environment. Using these materials also allowed the building to be light/airy and assume a small massing footprint. Most of the living spaces are oriented to the north to protect against the direct intensive solar intrusion, while allowing maximum glazing for natural light.
